Heather and her " Re"- 2006
Heather is well and happy in NYC! She has the opportunity to travel to Europe several times a year to sing, as well as work at an advertising company,
Lovely as ever, she is very excited about her new nephew "Bobby Hugh" (Hugh after my Dad)
Scroll down to Oct. and see the baby and his big sister Tessa Michelle, now age 6 yrs.
Their mom, jolie, is doing well, and is happy about her growing family.
"Nurse " Marie and Awaski-
Sparrows Rainbow Village
Last April-July -- I was a volunteer at Sparrows in South Africa.
This is one of many children that I fell in love with--Awaski !
There were 158 chidren and 60 or so adults, either infected with HIV-AIDS or orphaned by it
If you wish to read or see more about my time at Sparrows, just click on May, June or July in the right hand column.
The Lame Missioners
We started out with 6, but now are four missionaries. Much illness and mishap has caused a name change from "The Lay Missionaries" to "The Lame Missioners" Ha-Ha-Ha
Though Larry is missing from this photo, husband of Lynn, both he and Lynn will join us in Uganda next summer.
I never expected to find two such "amazing" women to add to my list of friends, but ,alas, I have been greatly blessed.
Diana to my left. and Lynn to my right.
