Dear "Gold" Friend - Marie, Your generosity and kindness continue to overwhem your friends. We are blessed and grateful. Thank you for being YOU! It is becoming more and more evident, as you describe and turn the pages of this part of your story, that your real reason for being there, initially anyway, may NOT be the one YOU thought YOU had been prepared for, but the one prepared FOR
you. It is as if you are on a "Good Will" Mission or a covert love-making one. I guess your heart has been so filled, that it is meant to be spilling out right there in Kisoro.
It is so typical of our culture that we feel as if "we" are needed to impart something another doesn't have, when in truth, the best place to be is a place where the heart is poor, recognizes it's need and able to receive and give thanks. "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for there's IS the Kingdom of God".
As realistic and practical as you inately are, your accounting, so far, is revealing that you are getting a taste of that very Kingdom...How beautiful that you have the graciousness to recognize this hunger and experience the difference between a real meal and an artificial one. By the way, what is 'Bush Tea" make of? Have you had any more
So, goodnight from the U.S., where our bellies are usually too full and our steps too few. May we do a little more dancing and praising and sharing and listening. Thanks for lighting the way, beautiful one....mj
